100% Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain
This High River Crianza from Rioja Consejo de La Alta is a classic red wine from the Rioja DO made with selected clusters of Tempranillo. This soft, easy-to-drink, dark cherry wine is very versatile due to the pleasant combination of fruit and wood aromatics gained from 12 months of aging in American oak barrels. Aromatic with swirls of deep berry fruits and subtle hints of wood from cask ageing. The color is a purplish  garnet-red color with a ruby-red rim. Dark cherry and rich blackberry flavors delight your tastebuds. Well-balanced, pleasant and smooth, it will benefit from decanting shortly prior to serving.
